Black has been involved in the high performance computing (HPC) industry for nearly 25 years, serving as a writer and marketer for such industry leaders as Intel, SGI and Motorola. In addition, he has written for Scientific Computing, insideHPC, The Platform and HPCwire, where he focused on the implications and benefits of high performance computing for business and society.

As Managing Editor of EnterpriseTech, Black will focus on advanced scale computing for the enterprise, where organizations are creating solutions through time-sensitive complex analytics using big data, cloud and HPC. In addition to covering the proliferation of HPC technology into businesses from Fortune500s to small- and medium-sized enterprises across all disciplines, Black will also cover the modeling and simulation advancements for such industries as manufacturing, oil & gas, life sciences, financial services and more, where such solutions drive bottom line results.
